Great winter position at the ASA!

A new and exciting position has been created at the Alberta Snowboarding
Association for an Events Coordinator.
The Alberta Snowboarding Association (ASA) is looking for a talented individual who
has a passion for snowboarding and snowboarding related events to fill the roll of
Event Manager.

Responsibilities include:
Event planning scheduling,
Event site liaison and set coordination of set up/tear down,
Coordination of event officials and volunteers, volunteer recruitment.
Event equipment management.

You will be:
Enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team.
A good communicator
Available to work weekends.
Previous event coordination experience is an asset.
Physically fit.
Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
A clean driver’s license

You will work closely with the ASA office manager under the direction of the ASA
Executive.
This position is full time seasonal, commencing in September 2008 and continuing
until at least the end April 2009 with part time work into the summer.
